The American Cable Association is pleased to announce that RCN Corp. and Knology Inc. have joined the association, expanding the trade group's membership of small and medium-sized video, broadband and phone operators.

RCN, created in 1993 and located in Herndon, Va., is a provider of bundled telephone, cable television and high-speed Internet service delivered over its own fiber-optic local network to residential and small and medium-size business customers in the Boston; Chicago; Washington, D.C., metropolitan areas; Lehigh Valley, Penn.; New York; and Philadelphia.
Knology, headquartered in West Point, Ga., is a leading provider of interactive communications and entertainment services. The company offers more than 200 channels of digital cable TV, local and long distance digital telephone service, and high-speed Internet access.
