Communicating with Your Member of Congress

Below you will find documents that were specifically designed to help small cable operators, like yourself, begin communicating with the officials that affect our industry on a daily basis.

• How to Write to Your Member of Congress - The easiest way you can help make a difference is to send a personalized letter to your U.S. Representative and Senators or the FCC urging them to take action.
• How to Call Your Member of Congress - To help spread key messages and make an impact on policy that affects you and your company, take five minutes to call your member of Congress and urge him or her to take action!
• How to Host your Member of Congress - Hosting a member of Congress or a staff member is one the most effective tools to urge your legislator to take action.

Communicating with Your Local Media

Getting your voice heard by local media outlets and fellow small cable owners will help you and your company. It will also give you greater influence with your member of Congress, local broadcasters and your customers.
